Monster

☆

An Nuo is deaf, mute, and blind.

He has a serious, rational father, a thoughtful, kind mother, an upright, gentle older brother, and an incredibly fluffy golden retriever.

But... lately, everyone seems a little strange.

The room is filled with all sorts of odd smells, the floor is always damp, the food has become hard to swallow, and everyone tries to keep their distance from him and won't let him get close.

Later, he finally touches them again.

Sharp teeth, scales, tentacles, winding vines, and rough bones beneath their fur.

They have changed.

"It's okay," An Nuo signs clumsily, smiling at the monsters. "Will you hold me?"

"You haven't hugged me in so long..."

Blurb from the love interest's perspective:

It seems to have forgotten many things.

How to eat, sleep, and talk to people...

Its thick roots are dirty and slick, so they can't go on the bed. It wraps its prey in its cleanest branches and covers it with its softest leaves.

What is this?

Smells so good... I'm so hungry... I'll definitely eat him tomorrow.

#What is this? Smell it, save it for tomorrow! What is this? Smell it, save it for tomorrow! What is this...#

#Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow#

#This is its beloved#
