After Being Mistaken for an Immortal

What should you do when you transmigrate and everyone mistakes you for an immortal?

Zhou Li wasn't an immortal. He was merely a cultivator. The game he transmigrated from was called A Quest for the Dao. From the start, players had to join an immortal sect, and he had transmigrated while still in the form of his little game character.

But the world he arrived in was nothing like the game's opening.

Although he had transmigrated, it seemed the game's quests had come along with him.

At first, he heard that in this place, a scholar had encountered a fox spirit at night, demons and monsters haunted ruined temples, and sorcerers rode the wind, free and unfettered...

He was incredibly excited.

After all, he was a cultivator with a game interface!

Just listen to those tales: if demons and monsters existed, then surely immortals and gods did too!

He was going to complete his first starting quest and find an immortal sect to join.

This was an ancient world where demons and monsters belonged to stories, and sorcerers' tricks were merely the schemes of the martial world.

Then, one day, a sword immortal suddenly appeared in the martial world. It seemed something had changed.

They thought “sword immortal” was just an honorific for that strange young man.

“His sword must be amazing, right?”

“I want to become a sword immortal too.”

“Hmph, I'll defeat him. Then I'll be the greatest sword immortal under heaven!”

Countless people thought the same way.

Only those who had seen the sword immortal wore strange, dazed expressions.

At first, they couldn't believe their eyes when they saw the little game character.

The game character was born without the need to eat, drink, or sleep, yet always looked radiant, with not a speck of dust on his robes.

To the outsiders, it was: “Gasp, we've encountered a real immortal!”

They saw Zhou Li casually put things into his inventory.

The old men who had spent most of their lives cultivating the Dao or chanting Buddhist prayers were moved to tears: “This must be our Daoist sect's Sleeve World!” “This must be the Buddhist palm-sized realm!”
