Wait, You Really Have the Makings of an Immortal?

Jiang Ling had something wrong with his head, but that was in his previous life.

After transmigrating to the cultivation world, Jiang Ling joined a legendary hidden sect.

All because the sect master said he had the makings of an immortal!

Jiang Ling was moved. This was the first person who had recognized his potential!

If my master says I have the makings of an immortal, then it must be true!

He improved incomplete cultivation techniques, advanced by leaps and bounds, developed a body immune to all techniques, and gained top-tier comprehension...

Jiang Ling always believed this was simply the natural result of having the makings of an immortal.

Nothing out of the ordinary.

But behind him, every sect disciple, including the sect master, was utterly stunned.

As they watched Jiang Ling cleave a star from the sky with a single sword strike,

Everyone in the sect was dumbfounded!

The sect master even pulled out one of his own whiskers.

Wait, disciple, junior brother, you really do have the makings of an immortal?!

When the sect disciples first saw the new junior brother whom the sect master had tricked into joining, they treated him like anyone else.

The sect had barely a dozen members, all cultivators scraping along at the very bottom of the cultivation world.

Unless something unexpected happened, their lives would amount to nothing, or end in some unforeseen disaster.

But with the junior brother's arrival, everything changed.

Faced with their junior brother's unwavering belief that their sect was a hidden sect, everyone took a deep breath and gave it their all!

They had to make sure this junior brother, their ticket to success, stayed with the sect.

"What do we do? Master, why didn't you make up a more impressive story about inventing those techniques? Junior brother has run out of techniques to practice!"

"Quick! Junior brother wants to study talisman arts! Someone get to it!"

"Get to what?"

"Make something up."

Junior brother was so amazing, he could master even the stuff they made up.

And before long, they had all been forced to improve along with him!
