A Taro Tachi from a Dark Honmaru, cut off from current events, picked up a little one.
The child looked about five or six, as pretty and delicate as a porcelain doll. They had powerful spiritual energy and could cleanse the corruption on the swords in the Honmaru, but seemed to have something wrong with their brain.
They could barely speak, only managing to blurt out a word or two at a time. Their body was delicate and frail. Even a scratch from weeds would make them bleed nonstop. They would jump straight into a pond at the sight of one. Their gentle, loving "Mom" was "no longer in this world." And just about any sword could trick them into going along.
The tiny child held up a wild fruit and gazed at them pleadingly. "Big brother, sweet. Eat."
The swords: ...Let's keep them for now. We do need a source of spiritual energy, after all. It's not because we've gone soft!
The jellyfish thought "Mom" was wonderful in every way, except that she worried too much. It was already a big kid, but she still wouldn't let it, a jellyfish, go out alone. So the jellyfish decided to travel alone this time and prove through experience that it had grown up. Along the way, it met beings a lot like its "big brothers," and those other "big brothers" were badly injured.
The jellyfish wiggled its head, which was almost entirely water, and thought, "Mom will be proud of me for helping the weak!" Then it stuck to them.
A certain Saniwa from a higher dimension, whose vision went black when their child ran away from home: This must be what a heart attack feels like. Kiyomitsu, help me sit down. I'm dizzy.
Note: The protagonist's name is Jellyfish, and its species is blue moon jellyfish. It is a truly adorable little jellyfish with no brain. Non-typical corruption. The government is both black and white, while the government in the Saniwa's world is good. A Detective Conan crossover, set very early in the timeline. Characters will be saved from death, including the Police Academy Five, Akemi, and Doctor Narumi. No pairings. The little jellyfish is still a baby. Coo-coo, updates whenever inspiration strikes.
