Tregear, who fell into darkness and used honeyed words to lure countless people, doesn't take life seriously.
Just like now, when he's one step away from killing the tiny pet that Taiga's human host cares about so much. That wouldn't matter either, would it?
He doesn't care about life. With a casual beam of light, he makes the ugly pet vanish in the heat of an explosion.
Only after returning to his normal size does he pick up the monster that should have died in that explosion and, humming a tune, take it back to his so-called "home."
Only then does Tregear's face darken as he looks at the monster's baby, nicknamed Little One. He doesn't understand why he spared something so ugly, so slow-witted, and let it live.
He'd already made up his mind, hadn't he?
He hates this side of himself, but he can't do anything about it. Whenever he sees Taiga, or anything connected to him, an unknown maternal instinct surges up and runs wild, like a beam of light illuminating his soul.
Warm. Dazzling.
Tregear has never heard Taro say anything about the child's mother.
Not once. Not ever.
...Is he hiding it? Afraid Tregear will cause trouble? Or is the child's origins a mystery even to him?
Whatever the answer, it has nothing to do with Tregear. He doesn't care, and he doesn't think it's a big deal.
But Taro never told him that Taiga was his child too.
Content warnings:
This is probably a made-up Taro and Tregear love story. Taiga is the result of gene splicing (meaning Taro secretly used Tregear's genes in a fusion), with no pregnancy or childbirth.
It's all completely made up. Any out-of-character writing is on me. I don't care if Tsuburaya proves me wrong; I'm writing it anyway! (^_^)
I'm happy because someone I dislike has left, so I wrote something casual to lift my spirits. Warning: no logic, plot holes flying everywhere, and I haven't caught up on Ultraman lore in ages, so the plot is probably a complete mess.
Theme: Seek the light, face death with courage, follow your heart, and have no regrets.
Ahhhh, it looks good, please update
