*Redemption / healing / secret crush from the male lead / both reborn?
She returned to the past once again. This time, it was September, when she was eighteen.
Outside a restaurant, a group of students who had just attended their high school reunion were saying their reluctant goodbyes.
Chen Yansen leaned against his motorcycle, his expression indifferent as he waved away a girl who had come over to flirt with him.
Lin Shu teased him. "Why didn't you give her your WeChat?"
He said nothing, simply taking off the other helmet.
Lin Shu backed away repeatedly. "What are you doing? I tease you a little and now you're going to hit me?"
Chen Yansen pulled her in front of him and put the helmet on her. "What are you thinking? Come on, I'll take you home."
Lin Shu kept teasing him. "I wonder how many girls have worn this helmet before."
She looked down to fasten the buckle, but couldn't get it right.
The light before her dimmed. The young man bent down and took the buckle from her hands.
They drew closer.
Beneath the streetlight, his lashes fluttered again and again, and her heart pounded faster with every beat.
Suddenly his lashes stopped moving. His dark eyes fixed on her.
His expression was serious as he spoke, word by word. "No."
"Huh?"
"No other girl has ever worn this helmet."
Lin Shu had been reborn several times and encountered many sides of Chen Yansen.
- An ordinary classmate who barely spoke ten words to her in three years.
- A convenience store customer radiating a cold, dejected air.
- A great guy willing to risk life and limb for a classmate he hadn't seen in nine years.
Tonight, she discovered he had this side to him, too.
...Gentle, considerate, handsome.
...And able to make her heart race.
He was nothing like the rumors said.
"With each rebirth, I piece together the way you love me."
"If you could be reborn, what would you want to do?"
"I want to change more people's fates and help as many people as I can."
"I don't have grand ambitions. I just want to be by your side."

Shang Kerou liked to imagine nice things to cheer herself up.
Living in a spacious apartment, raising a cute puppy; having money and free time to travel everywhere; being talented at everything, from music and chess to calligraphy and painting.
Lately, she'd been imagining that she had a boyfriend.
He had striking features, a graceful figure, and eight-pack abs (she'd felt them through his clothes). He treated her with tenderness and consideration. He was a wonderful person.
She liked to daydream, but that was fine. She knew the difference between fantasy and reality.
After graduating from university, she joined an advertising agency, worked diligently as one little cog in the machine, earned money, and made the best of life.
One day, she went to a meeting at a client's company with her supervisor.
Beaming, she carried three drinks and pushed open the conference room door.
-And there, sitting inside, was the boyfriend she'd imagined.
"Mr. Gu."
Her supervisor nudged her as she stood frozen in place. "Go on, say hello."
Shang Kerou's brain couldn't keep up. She parroted him: "G-Good morning, Mr. Gu."
In a fluster, she took out the drinks. Two iced Americanos were for the project manager and her supervisor. The last one...
She closed her eyes, steeled herself, and handed the man the Belgian chocolate Frappuccino she'd carefully chosen, large, with light ice and two pumps of syrup.

Half a year ago, Gu Qingshu had fallen in love.
The girl was optimistic and cheerful, like a little sun brightening his world. He liked her and was infatuated with her soft, delicate lips. He fell deeply in love.
But three months ago, she stopped answering his calls and messages, disappearing from his world completely.
Until now, when she handed him a Frappuccino so sweet it was almost cloying.

Because of something Gu Qingshu said, Shang Kerou was forced to work on-site at the client's company.
Since time immemorial, clients and agencies had disliked each other, cursing each other as idiots behind their backs.
She was now alone in the tiger's den, like a hostage.
Shang Kerou had prepared for the worst, but she hadn't expected everything there to be so nice.
Except for the boss. He was weird.
At times, he was annoying.
"Here's the brief today. Deliver the proposal tomorrow."
At other times, he almost seemed human.
"Thanks for working overtime tonight. Let me treat you to a late-night meal."
She assumed work pressure had given him a split personality and didn't think much of it.
Until that night, in the cramped entryway, when Gu Qingshu's eyes turned slightly red and he nearly shouted,
"Why are you pretending you don't know me?"
"What do you take me for?"
"I'm your boyfriend!"
An ellipsis floated over Shang Kerou's head. Has working overtime made him lose his mind?
Theme: Love life and cherish it
"Zhou Junwei" gave the author a big bug~ Zhou Junwei Oh
The plots in these chapters of the fifth life feel a bit disconnected. Are there a lot of foreshadowings? I feel like the male protagonist needs a separate perspective. The interaction with the heroine is sometimes familiar and sometimes unfamiliar, and the timeline jumps quite quickly.
Woo woo woo, the two good babies who redeemed each other kissed each other sweetly.
Two kind-hearted babes keep each other warm together 🌈
Don't die again. I feel sorry for the female goose 😭
Are we about to separate? It's just a little sweet 😭 😭
Could it be Wen Haoyin? [Afraid]
