Everyone thought that this delicate transfer student who'd gotten in through connections wouldn't last and would soon slink away from the honors class.

But, little by little, they realized things weren't going as expected.

During the ranking competition, the academy's top student, who had looked down on An Yi, fought him fiercely and was thoroughly won over. "I admit I was biased against you before, but not anymore. Would you be my partner?"

During a field assignment, the Empire's prince, convinced of his own superior mental strength, put aside his pride after witnessing An Yi's peerless talent. "You're the most talented female insectoid I've ever met. Would you join my team?"

Even when kidnapped after an accident, An Yi used his extensive combat experience to easily defeat the alien species that had tried to harm them, earning the kidnapper leader's respect. "I guarantee that even a general with decades of battlefield experience wouldn't be better than you. Want to join us? I can give you deputy leader status right away."

At the same time, the villainous duke plotting to seize the throne also extended an offer to An Yi. "If you're willing to work for me, just ask for whatever you want: my connections, resources, or anything else."

From then on, no one dared look down on An Yi, this extraordinary "female insectoid."

And when An Yi's identity as a male insectoid was revealed, every insect was stunned.

A high-ranking male insectoid who was both scholarly and skilled in combat, beautiful and refined, and possessed a grace and gentlemanly etiquette no other male could match was, without exaggeration, the only one of his kind in the entire Empire.

The female insectoids eyed him covetously, hoping to pluck this dazzling rose, only to be caught off guard by the predator who had been watching from the shadows.

Only then did they realize that this one-of-a-kind imperial rose already belonged to someone--

The marshal, hailed as an undefeated legend, possessed of SSS-grade mental strength, who had once sworn to devote his loyalty to the Empire.
