Xie Baijing was an utterly ordinary egg seller. His only unusual trait was that his business covered a rather wide area: three thousand planes, to be exact.
He traveled through three thousand worlds, searching for people or things connected to his origins.
One day, while wandering through his own vegetable garden, he found a boy.
He had read plenty of books where the protagonists took men they found by the roadside home, only to suffer a series of tragedies and even bring ruin upon their families. Even so, Xie Baijing still brought the boy home.
When the boy’s troubles came knocking, Xie Baijing settled them with a single move, then said, “You called that trouble? I thought someone had come to steal my eggs.”
After all the effort he put into raising the boy, Xie Baijing had hoped the young man would help watch the house. Instead, the beautiful boy turned into a flashy, domineering, overpowered dragon hero.
Fine, a dragon hero was a dragon hero. But why, after they switched worlds, had this guy suddenly become his fiancé? And why was he still a dragon hero?
Shen Duqiu: “Sorry, I’m the Host of a dragon-hero system. I’ve been a professional dragon hero for a thousand years. In the last world, I was a good-for-nothing who rose to greatness. This time, I’m a dragon hero in a broken-engagement storyline. Though given how things are going, I suppose it doesn’t count as one anymore, since the engagement isn’t being called off. You saved my life in the last world, so in this one, I’ll repay you with my hand in marriage.”
Reading guide:
1. The top is strong, but the bottom is stronger. The bottom is a truly max-level expert, powerful enough to defeat anyone in the world, while the top is a dragon hero who’s still growing stronger every day.
2. Pairing: A dragon-hero top whose goal is to become the strongest × a naturally airheaded plane-trading bottom with maxed-out combat ability. They’re a silly little couple!
3. No one besides the top has romantic feelings for the bottom, and vice versa. No switching or breaking up the pairing. The top and bottom are each other’s only ones, body and heart.
4. In a sense, this is a slow-travel story, following the couple as they team up to fight monsters and level up in various worlds.
