[Female lead with a phobia of physical contact with men x brooding man with an insatiable need for physical affection] [SC//HE]
Qi Wanning first met Pei Jingchen outside a cemetery.
The man stood in the rain beneath a black umbrella, noble and aloof. His face was exactly like that of her dead fiance.
The second time they met, she proposed to him.
She had a phobia of physical contact with men, and after they married, she only intended to share a life with him. She had no plans to act out some stand-in romance.
But her husband didn't believe her. His eyes turned red.
"You married me because I look like that man, didn't you?"
A tear slipped down his cheek. He looked so pale, as if he were about to shatter.
"I can treat you very, very well."
"Don't think of me as him."
Before long, Pei Jingchen's good looks and seduction had her surrendering.
Miraculously, she could accept his massages, hugs, and even his kisses...
As if her body had known him first.
*
Pei Jingchen said they had no past together, but Qi Wanning didn't believe him.
By chance, she discovered their story had begun two years earlier.
Back then, the man was cold and strange, his slightly long black hair concealing eyes as venomous as a snake's.
She was badly injured, yet refused to let him treat her wounds.
He had no choice but to harden his voice and play the villain: "Either let me help you, or wait to die. You choose."
She could only choose to live, then try every way she could to escape this terrifying man.
When that man and her husband became one in her mind, her scalp went numb.
She turned around to find Pei Jingchen in an apron, standing in the doorway and watching her with an almost-smile
"Wanning found out."
"What would you like for dinner?"
A few things to know before reading:
1. Do not associate the male lead's identity with anyone in real life. The male lead and the fiance are not the same person.

[A clueless woman with no worldly desires because she draws too much x a brooding man who schemes tirelessly to get close to her]
[SCHE]
When Li Leshi learned that she was marrying Wen Ting Shen, she didn't feel much of anything.
They were childhood friends who knew each other inside and out. If they were getting married, then so be it.
The key was that the man was handsome, and he was a source of inspiration for her illustrations. So... why not?
On the wedding night, during her last night as a single woman, she secretly stayed up late drawing a spicy picture of him in a suit
The man in the picture had tousled hair falling slightly over his face, a noble and handsome air, and a sturdy chest that nearly strained his shirt.
The comments were full of praise, except for one person who kept insisting: the proportions are wrong.
Li Leshi nearly laughed. She'd felt him up from head to toe. How could they be wrong?
For her second spicy picture, she drew him in a black cat costume, inspired by someone's messy bedhead that morning.
The comments went wild over the new picture, but that same person still insisted: the proportions are wrong.
For her third spicy picture, she drew him as a merman, and that same person said again: the proportions are wrong.
This time, Li Leshi decided she wouldn't put up with it: What's wrong with them?
A few seconds later, someone knocked on the bedroom door.
"Shishi, how about you come measure the... proportions yourself?"
"They should be... a little bigger."
Li Leshi: ? Has his secret identity been exposed?
--
Wen Ting Shen was born with heterochromia, one of his eyes blue. Li Leshi had always thought he looked like a haughty Persian cat.
But her friends thought he looked like a wolf, the kind with a murderous glint in its eyes.
"Have you really never noticed how cold your husband's gaze is? Every time I see him, he scares me."
"It's like being watched by a cold-blooded wolf."
"And he always appears like some ghost, too. Is he keeping an eye on you?"
Li Leshi sucked on her milk tea straw and thought back to the man blushing as she tied him up, as well as his bashful expression when she directed him through some naughty poses. She couldn't understand her friends at all.
A terrifying wolf?
He was just a well-behaved Persian cat! One she could pose however she liked!
When she looked up, the man stood beneath a streetlight in a crisp, perfectly fitted shirt. His black hair was slightly damp, and his pale fingertips tapped the watch on his wrist.
"Time's up. Let's go home and, "
He swallowed the last word, shooting a cold glance at the irrelevant people beside her.
Oblivious as ever, Li Leshi said goodbye to her friends and jogged over to the man. "Thanks for reminding me to draw. I might make a new bondage picture tonight, so thanks in advance for your help."
The man lowered his lashes and pursed his lips. "I didn't mean drawing."
"Then what did you mean?"
Blushing, he finally let out the word he'd been holding back for so long.
Li Leshi's smile froze. Only later did she learn that the man had planned from the start to become the inspiration for her artwork.
Theme: Even in the depths of darkness, one can still yearn for the light.
