A story about a woman who transmigrates and is swept along by the values of another world, going from a minor figure on the side of good to falling into evil, turning against her friends, and finally coming to terms with herself.
She quick transmigrates into the body of a six-year-old minor female character.
Right after transmigrating, her aloof, proud senior disciple brother lures her up the mountain to the Shanhai Sect with a precious night pearl.
The Shanhai Sect isn't large, but it always manages to create legends.
There's her proud, wealthy senior brother, who gets jealous all the time; a senior sister who loves nothing more than a fight; and a junior brother with incredible talent who racks his brains every day trying to pursue that senior sister.
The neighboring peak is even more lively, with the mad-dog male lead from the original story pursuing his love every day.
Ming Long, who normally loves gossip, finds it all a little too sickly sweet. To escape her training, she goes down the mountain to sleep beside a river. When she wakes up, she finds a beautiful half-demon?
Ming Long is so startled she turns right around and leaves. This is a huge headache. The original female lead should deal with it. But who could have guessed that everyone would go off-script? They simply won't follow the original plot.
Ming Long looks at the fragile, green-tea half-demon who follows her everywhere, and her senior brother walking ahead, jealous and refusing to let the two of them get close. She can't help thinking the road to immortality is long and treacherous.
Li Yaoguang's helpless voice reaches her ears. "So what? Junior Sister and I were made for each other. It would be wonderful if our good match came to pass sooner."
But later, the eyes that once shone like rubies lose their luster beneath a veil of dust. He says, "I am merely the head of a noble family, a blind man with a crippled leg. Immortal masters, please leave..."
Zhu Ze presses Ming Long against his neck. Trembling, he says, "I'm glad you need me. We're already one. Why do you have to reject it?..."
But later, Ming Long still keeps her eyes shut. She hears a soft sigh. It's Zhu Ze, murmuring, "Forget it. Forget it..."
Everyone has a path they must follow. Paths intertwine, people meet and then part, and in the end they head in different directions.
Though everyone's path is different, there are always places where their hearts resonate.

The Noblewoman's True Wish [Matriarchy]
The female lead is the pampered daughter of the current prime minister, a notorious playboy in the capital and one of the most direct beneficiaries of a society where women are esteemed and men are subordinate. Three husbands and six consorts. The female lead is an imperfect character who grows.
Women have normal biological traits and high social status. Men aren't effeminate.
[Male leads are virgins + romantic rivalry + men competing for her + men hopelessly in love + men suffer]
When a servant from the Wen family comes to find Chu Huayue, she's in the most famous brothel in the capital, playing dice.
Li Miaosheng, the celebrated courtesan who belongs exclusively to Chu Huayue, pours her a drink and urges her to go see Wen Quchen, who's waiting downstairs.
Chu Huayue is already in a foul mood from losing. She takes the cup and goes to the window. Sure enough, Wen Quchen is standing beneath the brothel, wearing a veil.
This isn't a place a respectable young man from a distinguished family like him should visit.
Passersby and drinking patrons on this pleasure street all look at him with interest.
He seems to sense something and looks up, meeting Chu Huayue's eyes. She only tilts her head, unable to understand why Wen Quchen has come to see her.
Her friends, enjoying themselves inside, crowd around to watch the spectacle.
"Isn't that your fiance, the capital's top scholar? He's come to see you, so aren't you going downstairs? Be careful, or his mother might go to the palace and report your family, saying the Chu family failed to raise its daughter properly."
Mentioning the engagement is bad enough, and bringing it up only ruins her mood further. Chu Huayue snorts, about to call someone over to send him away.
But after glancing around, he ignores the attendants trying to stop him and takes off his veil.
What's that supposed to mean? Does he think she didn't recognize him?
How could Chu Huayue not recognize him? A few months ago, when he took it upon himself to cure her of the Chunhun aphrodisiac, he'd looked just like this, the corners of his eyes red as if he were about to cry.
He'd even had an attendant help the completely limp Chu Huayue during the act, so she could be on top.
An unheard-of humiliation! What kind of woman needs someone else's help when taking a husband?
Still, he had helped her through the drug's effects. They'd met for the first time, yet he'd sacrificed himself for her. She'd thought he was simply being kind.
Who knew that ten days later his family would come to force Chu Huayue into an engagement with him, claiming over and over that Chu Huayue had wronged their son?
Wen Quchen was a renowned scholar from a distinguished family, a husband every family dreamed of bringing home as its principal spouse.
If Chu Huayue claimed that he'd willingly given himself to a notorious playboy like her, nobody would believe it. In fact, nobody did. Not even her mother believed her, and she was given a beating for it.
The more Chu Huayue thinks about it, the angrier she gets. She pulls Li Miaosheng close by his firm waist, quickly pecks him on the cheek, drains her drink, and turns to push her way back into the crowd.
"I'm betting big! All in!"
So he likes reporting on people? So what if we're engaged? I'll just keep putting off marrying him until he becomes a laughingstock throughout the capital.
The capital's top scholar? I wouldn't take him if he came crawling to my door.
Theme: Every character deserves to shine.
