But I Haven't Paid the Rest for the Dragon Yet!

After taking bad advice, I spent 888.88 million gold coins on a dragon.

They say the black dragon is six feet tall, has an eight-pack, and, most importantly... is very handsome.

Well, it doesn't really matter if he's handsome. I'm the princess of the empire, filthy rich, and happen to be in need of a reasonably good-looking male servant to put on my shoes.

The next week, enemy forces suddenly invaded, and the imperial treasury went up in a tremendous explosion.

And I still hadn't paid the remaining balance for the dragon.

"..."

Reduced to picking up rotten fruit to eat in the slums and penniless, I looked up at the black-haired young man standing beside me, gazing down from on high.

A strange ring of red encircled his pupils,

like the setting sun about to sink into darkness.

He smiled. "So, when are you paying the balance, you broke-ass master?"

"…"

On the thirtieth day of working to pay off my debt, I was fired for entering the shop with my left foot first.

Whatever. I might as well reclaim the throne.

The black dragon had lived for countless ages.

He coveted all the most beautiful things in the world.

Pearls, jewels, treasures, gold coins... and, of course,

the most beautiful princess in the empire.

But naive humans didn't know that every pact made with him came at a price.

Just like now.

The princess, dressed in her work apron, hurried home from her job.

Princess: "I've thought of a way to pay you back... but I'm too embarrassed to say it..."

The black dragon propped his chin on one hand, taking his time. "Don't say another word. You're offering yourself to me in return..."

The princess declared firmly, "I want to reclaim my throne."

Black Dragon: …

Black Dragon: ?

-

"In the end, he helped her reclaim her throne."
