[Football] The Discarded Pawn's Game. The German Rose's Journey to Turn Her Life Around Against the Odds
Before Theodore Sylvie was urgently promoted from Arsenal U18 to the first team to shore up their stretched defense in the winter of 2005, no one could have predicted just how long and profound his bond with Arsenal would become.
He wasn't a genius spotted at a glance by the Professor and brought to the Emirates, nor was he a smooth-talking charmer adored by the fans, much less a superstar born to command the spotlight.
But he was an Arsenal boy, a pine tree that would never bend in the rain of North London, the heart and soul of the team and its spiritual banner for twenty years, all spent at one club.
To the coach who was like a father and mentor to him, Theodore was the child who caused him the least worry at the very beginning of the story. Now he is the pride of both the coach and Arsenal, forever.
Humans are selfish and suspicious by nature, so we are moved to tears by selfless loyalty in all its forms.
They called him a blessing from God, a gift from heaven. But he said, "No. I believe only in human ideals."
"Why do we love football so much? Because it doesn't just tell the inspiring stories of players striving to succeed. It also gives ordinary people a chance to dream of being heroes in our everyday lives."
"To Theodore, forever sincere and pure."
Please note:
1. The protagonist spends his entire career at Arsenal, representing England from youth training through retirement. Later, he will captain both club and country and win every major honor. My apologies to the players, club fans, and individual fans whose awards and captain's armbands get lost to the butterfly effect.
2. No romance, just brotherhood.
3. The title and protagonist's name were changed once because they were too similar to another work.
4. More notes will be added if I think of any.
