The Real Heiress Thinks I’m Trying to Win Her Over

Rong Yu transmigrates into a book about a fake heiress and a real heiress.

In the book, the fake heiress is cruel, stupid, and wicked. She covets the Rong family's fortune and lusts after the real heiress Song Yuyan's fiance. Everyone despises her, and she eventually dies a horrible death.

Luckily, Rong Yu arrives early. The real heiress has only just been brought back into the family, so there's still time to change her fate.

To make the real heiress feel comfortable taking over the company, Rong Yu makes her debut in the entertainment industry overnight and works hard to play the part of a pretty airhead, becoming a foil for the real heiress.

At home, she constantly calls her "Big Sister" and sweet-talks her until she's over the moon. She also makes a point of acting like she's afraid of men and loves criticizing her sister's fiance.

"Big Sister, you're so beautiful. That man isn't good enough for you at all."

"Big Sister, look, he doesn't even remember your birthday. Could he have another woman on the side?!"

"Big Sister, he kept glaring at me while you were in the bathroom. Is he mad that you brought me along on your date?"

The good news: She's gotten close to the real heiress.

The bad news: They've gotten too close, and the real heiress seems to think she has feelings for her.

Then one day, Song Yuyan corners Rong Yu against a wall. Her warm breath brushes Rong Yu's ear, the atmosphere charged with tension. "As you wanted, I dumped my fiance. How are you going to make it up to me?"

Rong Yu: ...

Can I still run away now?

*

Since childhood, Song Yuyan has had a secret ability: She can see her own future in her dreams. As long as she makes the choices she sees in those dreams, good fortune is bound to come her way.

Until Rong Yu appears and breaks that pattern.

In her dreams, Rong Yu is a vicious, domineering, selfish woman, but the real Rong Yu is different.

At first, Song Yuyan thinks Rong Yu is simply hiding her true nature well. But the more time they spend together, the more she discovers Rong Yu's virtues and the sincerity she shows her. The real Rong Yu is nothing like the one in her dreams.

Gradually, she grows interested in Rong Yu and breaks her own principles for her again and again.

Only later does she realize that this loss of control is what it means to be in love.
