Synopsis:
Everyone knows that the captain and vice-captain of the Blade Squad are bitter rivals who can't stand each other.
Back when Lin Huan lost the captain election by one beast's worth of points, she missed out on the position.
Song Sui became the dungeon's resident heartthrob, with admirers lining up from underground all the way to the surface.
Everyone says Captain Song is gentle, considerate, and dependable. Lin Huan knows what Song Sui is really like.
Around her, Song Sui is sharp-tongued, loves ordering her around, and even steals the girls she's interested in!
Lin Huan has wanted to leave the squad countless times, but she has to admit that Song Sui is absurdly strong.
For the sake of staying alive, she can only silently put up with Song Sui's occasional torment.
Then one day, she discovers she can hear Song Sui's thoughts.
And everything changes.
The beloved Song Sui is actually in love with her?!
A little scene:
Song Sui: This beast's tentacles aren't pretty. Take them and throw them away for me.
Lin Huan: You really know how to put on an act, Captain.
The next second, she hears Song Sui's thoughts: A few days ago, she said she needed an octopus tentacle for a potion, so I went to the surface and hunted down the biggest one I could find. I wonder if she'll like it.
If she's busy making potions for the next few days, she won't have time to go on a date with anyone else before our next mission, right?
Lin Huan: ?
Song Sui: I can't get used to this knife. Take it and sell it for me. Keep the money as your errand fee.
Lin Huan: Like I need your knife?
Song Sui's thoughts: I paid 5,000 Locke for this knife, and it has her favorite daisy pattern carved into it. It's definitely better than that lousy dagger A Lai gave her!
Lin Huan: ...
A true heartthrob who plays the fool while hiding her sharp claws, a noblewoman x a rebel with overwhelming strength, few words, and a jealous streak
Note: A little enemies-to-lovers story, where rivals become lovers. She won't hear the other's thoughts until later.
