Secretly Married to the Imperial Marshal, I Lost My Real Name

On the centennial anniversary of the Interstellar Alliance, the old president got drunk and blew up in front of billions of viewers watching the live broadcast across the galaxy:

"Xie Xuexiao, I order you to get married this year! Otherwise, I'll pretend I never had a grandson!"

The whole galaxy's netizens: "Ooh!"

Xie Xuexiao watched the old man pretending to be drunk on camera. "...You're quite the grandfather, aren't you?"

Su Xia scoffed. "Since when does anything people say while drunk count?"

Later, Su Xia got drunk at a classmate's birthday party. When he woke up, he found himself in a stranger's home, with two marriage certificates on the bedside table.

The name on the first certificate: Su Xia.

The name on the other: Xie Xuexiao.

Su Xia: "...?"

The greatest stroke of luck in Su Xia's life was marrying his idol. From then on, his name became a state secret.

The unfortunate part was that Xie Xuexiao hadn't married him willingly.

Xie Xuexiao had always thought marriage was a shackle that would only slow him down when killing interstellar pirates.

So, from the candidates his grandfather had picked out, he chose the utterly useless Su Xia.

After they married, Xie Xuexiao and Su Xia agreed on three rules: leave a message for urgent matters, don't bother each other with trivialities, and otherwise keep out of each other's way.

But the more faithfully Su Xia stuck to the rules, the less he contacted him. At first he checked in every three days, then sent a message every seven days, and after six months, he vanished without a word.

Later, on a routine patrol, Xie Xuexiao led his troops onto a frontier planet that had just been raided by interstellar pirates.

There stood Su Xia in front of an old-fashioned camera, covered in wounds but unfazed. "Viewers, I'm currently on Planet 9033. At around four this morning, the notorious Red Scorpion interstellar pirate gang withdrew from this planet..."

It was a side of Su Xia that Xie Xuexiao had never seen before.

Though frail, he stood tall and proud.
