The Handsome Bodyguard [The Supernatural]

Ming Yuehan had just celebrated his twentieth birthday when misfortune suddenly began to follow him. He kept getting caught up in freak accidents, nearly dying several times.

He had been a sunny, handsome young man, but in just a few months, he lost a tremendous amount of weight.

His grandmother, Madam Ming, was heartbroken. Ignoring her family's objections, she went to the countryside in the middle of the night and brought back a special bodyguard. She treated the bodyguard with the utmost respect. "Master Zhou, I'm counting on you to protect my grandson's life from now on."

Zhou Zhanling's expression was calm. "Consider it done."

Ming Yuehan stared speechlessly at the pretty little bodyguard, who was more than half a head shorter than him.

With that skinny little frame, she probably couldn't even stand up to a force-six wind. If he took her out with him, it was hard to say which of them would end up protecting the other.

Was this pretty thing here to be his bodyguard or his caretaker?

Considering his grandmother's health, Ming Yuehan couldn't bring himself to send her away outright, so he reluctantly let the little bodyguard stay by his side for the time being.

From then on, the young master of the Ming family had a pretty little sidekick, whom he took everywhere he went.

Strangely enough, as long as the little bodyguard was with him, he stopped having bad luck.

A friend asked Zhou Zhanling why, as the only living grandmaster of the mystic arts on the Five Continents, he would lower himself to be a bodyguard for some young punk.

Zhou Zhanling asked in return, "Don't you think he looks a lot like the little dog I used to keep?"

His friend asked, "How so?"

Zhou Zhanling propped his chin on his hand. "He's clingy, and he loves licking my hands. He's really affectionate, too, and he keeps shoving his head at me to get petted."

His friend: "..."
