Step two: Bathe him, treat his wounds, cook for him, take care of him, and be kind to him, be kind to him, be kind to him.

Step three: Teach the little wolf as he grows up, and help him get revenge on the bad guys.

Then you can end up with a little wolf who keeps his claws and fangs in check and actively snuggles up to you.
