1.
"How many steps does it take to save the Dragon Clan, from beginner to expert?"
As the only little dragon to hatch in the Dragon Clan in recent years, Shi Ye was born a prophet. The moment he opened his eyes, he saw the future in which his entire clan would die.
His father would be tortured, his bones and tendons torn out, his three souls scattered and six spirits destroyed. His dragon spine would be forged into a demon-binding rope. The clan leader would be shackled with black iron and become a soul-suppressing pillar in the South Sea, unable to escape for eternity.
The Dragon Clan was destined to perish. The Heavenly Dao had already carved a death stele for them without anyone noticing, yet had also left a sliver of hope for change.
Shi Ye turned his head and sighed in exasperation.
This family would be doomed without him.
Shi Ye, his fate.
Later, beneath a blood-red moon, crows cried out.
His father, who should have been pinned down by a Soul-Slaying Nail, turned around and drove his sword into the great demon of the Yao Clan. "Kiddo, did I do a good job acting like a naive sweetheart?"
2.
According to the prophecy, Huai Yue, the gloomy boy next door who always watched him in silence, would eventually die saving him.
"Huai Yue will die for Shi Ye on the day the snow has all melted."
But...
Everyone said Huai Yue was the final killing blade the Heavenly Dao had left the Dragon Clan. Yet in the end, he gouged out a god's bones and shattered his dragon scales, all for one person.
Dressed in red, holding a cup of bamboo wine,
Huai Yue smiled as he slowly pushed the Soul-Slaying Sword into his heart. His bloodstained fingertips trembled. "Shi Ye, don't look. It's dirty."
Shi Ye sighed again.
The King of Hell couldn't take anyone Shi Ye wanted to keep, and neither could the Heavenly Dao.
But somehow, Shi Ye suddenly discovered that the gloomy, ruthless dragon seemed to have a heart made of sweet, soft, white cotton candy. (Not huge and muscular.)
Wrecking his back and the bed, Shi Ye patted his little stash.
"Huai Yue, no diamonds, no getting into bed!!!"
"Good boy."
Tonight, we're only breaking the bed! Not plucking at the Heavenly Dao!
3. Later, the cultivation world discovered:
The most terrifying thing wasn't the reincarnation of an ancient true dragon, but the young Zhulong dragon who could alter the secrets of heaven.
With a smile, the Heavenly Dao shifted.
"Wrong."
The young god's lips curled in a faint smile.
"Hah, what are you supposed to be?"
