1. The characters are not based on real people (emphasis added). This is my take on esports, and there may be all kinds of jokes. None of the characters are based on anyone!

2. The main perspective only indicates whose viewpoint we follow. This is a BL story with two male leads, and there is no single protagonist.

3. No ship-breaking, reverse shipping, or dream-control. Not even joking about it. Cyberbullying people will only earn you a miserable life.

In a nutshell: Thank goodness. I thought the captain would become his archenemy, but it turns out he becomes his boyfriend.

Four-time champion Yin Yunlou's performance has seriously declined, and once again he falls short of winning the title. At the lowest point of both his reputation and his skills, his contract expires. He accepts a huge signing bonus and joins GALE.

His already poor reputation takes another hit, with talk of how his glory days are over spreading everywhere. But he pays no attention to the speculation, because someone much more interesting has appeared.

Yin Yunlou notices on the very first day that, for some unknown reason, Captain Jiang seems to have it in for him. He keeps his distance when they walk, avoids eye contact when they sit down, and retreats to his room whenever he can, even though they live under the same roof.

For a while, Yin Yunlou wonders if he's really that unlikeable. Then he overhears the manager asking Jiang Ying if he wants to switch rooms. Jiang Ying immediately denies that there's any conflict between them. He can't explain why, but firmly refuses to change roommates.

So that's how it is.

As they spend day after day together, Jiang Ying's social barriers gradually come down. Yin Yunlou's approach is like slowly boiling a frog, making Jiang Ying unaware that some of his actions have gone beyond what's normal between friends. Outraged by what Jiang Ying's former team did to Yin Yunlou, he slams down his can of cola, splashing sweet soda all over his hand.

When Yin Yunlou offers him a tissue, he stubbornly refuses to take it. Yin Yunlou sighs, takes his hand, and carefully wipes each finger clean, not even sparing his palm.

Jiang Ying is completely stunned. He doesn't even notice his ears getting hotter and hotter.
