Back to Seventeen

When do people most like to reminisce about the past?

Is it when their later years are unhappy, despite having once had so many precious, happy memories? Or when they have far too many regrets, so many that no matter how many years pass, they still cannot let them go? Every time they wake from a dream in the dead of night, regret and remorse... The longing to return to the past and change things, along with all those emotions, overwhelms them, leaving them tossing and turning, unable to sleep.

So now, as Xu Qiu watched the scenes unfolding on the old bus, she felt utterly dazed.
