(The blurb has been screenshotted) (The main story is told in third person)
I'm not a normal person, by the standards of what people traditionally consider normal.
So I was tossed into a world brimming with justice and bound to the [Model Youth] System. Luckily, even though the binding came out of nowhere, I don't mind. After all, I've always been determined to become a sunny, cheerful young man! (Raises fist to the sky)
The System issues missions from time to time. I have to complete them and earn points to prove I've become a normal person. Only then can I go home.
[Please chase away the hooligan harassing Ran Mouri]
I kicked that perverted stalker so hard I broke three of his ribs, then thoughtfully escorted Ran Mouri back to Teitan.
Points +5
[Please help Officer Matsuda catch the murderer]
I turned around and hung the murderer upside down from the roof, smiling as I asked if he wanted to turn himself in. Then I called over the curly-haired officer.
Points +10
[Please rescue the little girl held hostage by a kidnapper]
I flung a throwing knife into the kidnapper's hand, then puffed out my chest and proudly described my heroic deed to Mr. Furuya and the little detective, who had arrived late.
Points +10
To be honest, though, lately I've felt like they look at me strangely, with complicated expressions. It makes me wonder if I've gotten something wrong. But the System gave me points, so what I did must have been right! (Confident!)
Hahahaha, I'll be a normal, sunny, cheerful young man in no time! Yeah!
Their feelings about Tsukishiro No were complicated.
Who knows how terrified a certain famous detective was when he saw the other guy dragging a criminal over, literally dragging him like a sack of rags. He was so afraid the boy had committed a crime!
A certain Japanese public security officer who preferred to remain anonymous felt the same way. When he saw the boy smiling as he shot the criminal precisely in the calf, he was frantic. What kind of good kid is that skilled with a gun?!
The people at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department had even more complicated feelings. On the one hand, they were genuinely grateful the boy had helped them so much. But if possible, maybe he should stop helping. Who rescues someone and leaves one dead, or helps someone and leaves one injured?!
After everything Tsukishiro No had done, they were, they really were worried the kid would go astray!!
