[Opening in October-November]
Cui Yuyao, daughter of the Marquis of Anding, is famed for her quiet grace and beauty.
In private, however, she's the capital's most celebrated writer of steamy romance stories, adored by young noblewomen.
Her stories are full of passion and sensuality, captivating readers with a series about aloof, unattainable men and shy, delicate maidens.
Her eldest brother, Cui Zhan, is so handsome he seems otherworldly, and is reserved and taciturn. He's her greatest source of inspiration.
He holds himself to strict standards and is even stricter with others, especially his unruly younger sister. He furrows his brow at her every day and corrects her at every turn.
“Sit up straight.”
“Watch your language.”
“Stop looking around.”
Cui Yuyao appears to take his lessons to heart, but privately makes mental notes: the way he frowns, the way he scolds her, the way he raps her knuckles... Every moment sends her imagination racing.
“His Adam's apple bobbed as though he were suppressing a tempest...”
“Beneath his neat robes, his lean waist and taut abdomen were clearly defined...”
“He suddenly let out a low growl and pulled her fiercely into his arms...”
Her writing is so sensual it leaves readers weak in the knees, and another book becomes a hit.
The bookstore owner is hounding her for the next installment, and Cui Yuyao is running out of inspiration. She has no choice but to step up her “research.”

Cui Zhan happens to come across a stack of manuscripts he should never have read.
Every word is sensual, every line explicit, and he himself is the source of every description.
Worse still, those ridiculous passages haunt his dreams night after night.
Furious, he burns the manuscripts, confines her to her quarters, and makes her copy texts as punishment, using the strictest rules to build a cage around her.
Until an imperial decree betroths his younger sister to the newly appointed top scholar.
On the eve of the wedding, he hears her humming to her wedding gown, as if she can hardly wait.
All his reason crumbles.
He raised her with his own hands. Does she really want to escape him that badly?

Cui Yuyao is mulling over her next story when the door opens.
Her usually dignified and refined elder brother, the very picture of a sage and gentleman, stands there with the pages she submitted the other day, his gaze dark and unreadable.
“Chapter Eight.”
He reads slowly. “‘He gripped her waist and pinned her in front of the ancestral tablets in the family shrine...’”
“Yaoyao.”
His voice is low, making her heart itch. “Your elder brother has recently read your masterpiece as well.”
Cui Yuyao's heart pounds as she retreats step by step. “W-why read it?”
He takes the opportunity to trap her between himself and the desk.
“To reflect.”
“To reflect on what I lack in ‘growling low’ and ‘passionate embraces,’ that my sister would look elsewhere and think of marrying another man?”
“Besides, you've described everything in such detail...”
“If I don't verify it with you myself, how can I know whether it's true, hmm?”
A sweet treat. Stepbrother-sister romance.
Pretty-boy-obsessed, sunny younger sister × disciplined, strict, secretly smoldering daddy-type older brother
They grew up together as cousins, both raised in the same household.
