Jiang Fuyi, a member of a horror-game review team, is delicate and pretty. She often gets so startled by the ghosts lunging at her from the screen that she covers her mouth and backs away. Everyone in the group agrees she's the biggest coward.

This innocent, honest girl is assigned to write a negative review of a rival's game, and afterward, the male ghost protagonist starts haunting her.

A porcelain-white face, red lips, dark eyes. He appears everywhere in her life, never leaving her alone. One day he's climbing into her bed, the next he's hanging from the ceiling. There's no getting rid of him.

He hardly even speaks. He just torments her.

Jiang Fuyi puts up with the haunting for several days, then finally loses patience. She slaps a faceful of talismans onto him, ready to die together with the ghost.

Wu Shanshi turns himself into the character plush she likes, but she still throws him away. He carefully stages an appearance from her wardrobe, and she seals the doors shut... She doesn't spend much time with him at all, and she doesn't reach out to touch him like she used to.

Now, she only grabs his hair when... things get very special.

It's all right. Even if she doesn't like this face or this persona, he still has countless chances to get it right.

But secrets never stay hidden.

Jiang Fuyi still finds his cave, trembling with tears in her eyes as she demands to know what he is.

Wu Shanshi carefully reveals his true form.

A second later, he slips into the pool, exposing only his broad shoulders and narrow waist. His long, slender snake tail quietly crawls onto the bank and coils around her ankle. Without a word, he asks, "Do you think I'm scary? Do you want to run away?"

With wet lashes lowered, Jiang Fuyi seems too frightened to speak. After a long moment, she curls her fingers and tells him to come out.

Wu Shanshi sees the peachwood sword on her clearly, but still slithers out.

"Kill me." His voice is low. He closes his eyes, dark and despairing. "You must think I'm ugly now..."

"You're so sexy and beautiful." Jiang Fuyi kisses the scales at the corner of his eye and straddles him. "Don't hide your forked tongue. Come out and kiss me ^^."
