A Lifetime

(I want to give these two poor kids a future. At least the story shouldn't end with them huddled in a basement in winter, so I decided to keep writing. I'm very busy with my day job, and I've started two other books as well, but I'll do my best to give this one an ending.

Updates when I can.)

Fake step-siblings, childhood sweethearts, a story about two unstable people growing up together and keeping each other company.

I never drank my brother's milk, but I did eat the food he fed me.

My brother raised me.

I should be my brother's wife.

That's only natural.

My brother says I'm crazy.

Then I'll be my brother's husband.

I compromised, so he should give in too.

My brother slapped me.

I took it as his agreement.

For a lifetime, right?

Otherwise, why slap me only once instead of twice?
