Blurb One
Hoshino Reo was a young idol who could sing and dance brilliantly. The media hailed him as a "beautiful boy like an evening primrose," because his breathtaking natural beauty seemed to bloom with a life force burning wildly, while his frail body looked as though it might wither forever at any moment.
His future was bright and his career was at its height, yet he chose to retire while he was still at the top, leaving only a statement that he hoped to recover his health and study abroad before turning his back on the entertainment industry.
Years later, the boy who had once dazzled the world returned to the stage. One original song set the whole venue alight. His complex aura, blending youthful innocence with maturity, his exquisite looks now touched with a bewitching glamour, and the tenderness that slipped out of him when he least expected it all sent his fans into a frenzy once more.
But only a very few people knew that the young man was not only the supreme master of spirits and monsters in the modern age, but also the father of a five-year-old "monster child."
Blurb Two
The night Hoshino Reo found out that his twin sister, also a superstar idol, had secretly become a single mother, he bought a plane ticket home in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, the plane crashed along the way.
The bad news: he didn't survive.
The good news: he transmigrated.
The bad news: he transmigrated to ancient Heian-kyo.
The worse news: following in his sister's footsteps, he became a single father.
The worst news: from the start, he nearly got killed on arrival and was already surrounded by monsters, demons, spirits, and ghosts.
Holding his strange-looking bargain-bin son, who was sleeping soundly, he surveyed the tiny wooden hut, bare of everything and utterly destitute. Clutching his stomach as it rumbled loudly, Hoshino Reo clenched his fists, his eyes reddening.
Waaah, Ai-chan, help me!
With his bargain-bin son's four little paws wrapped tightly around him, Reo's heart overflowed with fatherly love. He secretly resolved to make a survival plan for Heian-kyo.
Plan One: Fill his stomach first.
(Reo, working hard in the fields until his face was red: This bargain-bin son eats so much...)
Plan Two: Survive while surrounded by spirits and monsters.
(Reo, singing awkwardly while holding a hoe as the monsters enthusiastically swarm him: Don't, don't be so enthusiastic...)
Plan Three: Find a way home and reunite with his sister and the nephew or niece he had never met.
(His bargain-bin son's possessiveness going through the roof: Hey! You idiot old man, isn't having me for a son enough?! )
Years later, Hoshino Reo accidentally completed every part of his plan and found himself surrounded by a chaotic love triangle. He trembled and protested, "Don't make things up. Everyone's just my fan!"
The doting mom-fan and great onmyoji Ye Wang: Fly bravely, Reo. I'll carry the kid!
The ten-year career-fan and founder of the Star Plasma Cult: Gather the followers and vote to boost the rankings!
The fiercely devoted solo fan, his bargain-bin son Sukuna-chan: Thanks for asking. I hate fellow fans. Block them on sight.
The fun-loving passerby fan, the spicy teacher Gojo: Just a random passerby. Honestly, well, to put it plainly, there's quite a lot to say.
The thousand-year-old diehard anti-fan Juan'er: This celebrity has a huge scandal. DM me and I'll spill the details!
Blurb Three
Top idol Hoshino Ai and Hoshino Reo announced at the same time that they would hold a one-of-a-kind joint concert on October 31 at the National Yoyogi Arena in Shibuya!
The siblings' first-ever performance together sent both fanbases into a frenzy. Shibuya Station was packed that day.
After school, Sukuna-chan was on his way to support his dad's music when the crush of passersby made his vision blur. The next moment, he dropped from the sky into the Shibuya Incident.
He decided to ask someone familiar for directions.
He looked at the King of Curses in front of him, dressed like an elementary school student and carrying a little backpack.
Juan'er, who had just ripped open the top of his skull and was running around naked: ...
WTW, who was about to be shoved into the Prison Realm: ...Pfft.
Sukuna-chan, watching his adult self's tattooed face perform street theater: Makes a disgusted tsk-tsk sound.jpg
P.S. Please read the content warnings.
1. This is a completely unhinged story. The logic, timeline, and setting may be broken, the characters may be heavily altered, or they may be out of character. The siblings' ages have been changed to adulthood.
2. The protagonist is the twin brother of Hoshino Ai from Oshi no Ko. He looks delicate and easy to bully, but is actually gentle and resilient, with his own beliefs and convictions. At the start, he will be a little gloomy and unwell, but later he will grow into a man who can hold up the sky: Sukuna's dad. His ability is roughly the otherworldly version of Nangong Wenya: his singing makes people stupid. Whoever listens becomes an idiot.
3. Ai-chan's family won't be put through angst. Everyone will live well together and make sure that scumbag never gets a house.
4. In the setting of Blurb Three, the characters transmigrate into the original world. The Shibuya Incident will be changed by their arrival, and everyone will go to the concert together.
5. Although Sukuna-chan firmly objects to his idiot dad finding a new dad, that won't stop the author from liking mom-type men. Unless something unexpected happens, the love interest will be Ye Wang, the thousand-year-old onmyoji!
6. The author is a diehard romantic. The feelings go both ways, with no other one-sided crushes.
7. Other pairings may be mentioned or alluded to, such as Gojo and Geto. Read with caution if those bother you.
Theme: I'm sorry I was reborn as a dad.
