Blurb: (Collecting after 100 follows)
An utterly ordinary international student in America happened to be traveling when the Battle of New York took place, and even received a sizable compensation payment. Before the two shut-ins could decide which new games and comics to buy, a door opened in front of them, changing their lives forever (not really).
Huh? I'm the heir to □□?
Huh? I'm Nidhogg?
Huh? We have to save the world?
Oh, there's pay, and a steady job too. That actually sounds pretty good.
But...
Is this something a snarky commentator would say?
A snarky commentator would only complain about what a ridiculous plot this is. We're just ordinary college students!
But we have a heavy responsibility on our shoulders, and working hard is the right thing to do!
Part One: First, get our powers back
Dragon Raja + Detective Conan: We land in Japan, get code names, and Gin turns out to be my senior fellow student?
Katekyo Hitman Reborn (Byakuya Wins version): The future world is in ruins, and the good-for-nothing Tsunayoshi really has to save the world!
Part Two: Find a way to deal with the branching timelines
“Magic?” The two of them looked at each other.
“Technology works too. The TVA is built on a technological foundation, after all,” Mobius explained.
The two academic rookies continued staring at each other.
“So our first stop is to go straight to the great wizard Merlin?”
“Wait, when you say Merlin, do you mean the real Merlin, the gender-swapped Merlin from Seven Deadly Sins, or that half-incubus, half-human, giant Fou creature?” asked Lu Mingfei, who knew his way around anime and manga.
“Does that really matter?” Mobius asked, not quite understanding the fashions of young people these days.
“It matters!” Lu Mingfei insisted, and Sawada Tsunayoshi nodded.
“Fine. Which one do you think would be easier?”
“You can actually negotiate about this?” Lu Mingfei hesitated. He suspected agreeing to join the TVA had been a mistake, but he still made his choice: the original Merlin. Mobius adjusted the time pad and sent them back to the age of King Arthur. When they came out, they saw a young man with black hair and blue eyes.
“Magic?”
“No, technology!”
“So we're going to be students at Hogwarts? Oh my god, I never thought I'd get a letter from an owl after turning eleven.”
“But won't we be too old to enroll at our age?”
Mobius apologized. “No, no. You're going to be teachers.”
“Us? Two Muggles who can't use magic? What would we teach, Muggle Studies, maybe?”
“Defense Against the Dark Arts,” Mobius said.
“Was he always such a jerk? He's such a jerk I don't even want to save him anymore.”
“To be fair, it is still a little sad watching him die right in front of us.”
Anyway, the two snarky commentators are happily hopping between all sorts of worlds, trying to find a way to deal with the branching timelines. It's a joyful travel adventure!
Please note:
1. The main world is Marvel. After that, there will probably be all kinds of crossovers: movies, TV dramas, anime, and so on. Anything mentioned in the blurb will be included; anything not mentioned may be added on a whim depending on what I'm watching.
2. The original world will definitely appear, and there's a good chance it will coexist with the others.
3. The setup is a little complicated, so out-of-character behavior is inevitable.
4. Updates are irregular. My day job is very busy. When I start a story, I guarantee at least three updates a week. If I can't manage that, I'll make up the missed updates the following week.
5. I'm definitely giving this a happy ending, so don't go looking at my profile signature~

A Survival Guide for a Jianghu NPC
When Zhao Zhen left the mountain, her master gave her three pieces of advice:
First, if you can't win, run.
Second, if you think you can't win, run.
Third, in short, if anything seems off, run as fast as you can.
Zhou Ning earnestly advised her, “My dear disciple, your martial arts are poor, and lightness skills are the only thing you're any good at. So don't overestimate yourself and get mixed up in trouble.”
“Master, I'm going to the foot of the mountain where the greatest sect in the land, second only to Shaolin and Wudang, is located. You could say it's the safest place in the whole world, so there's no need for you to worry so much.”
Zhou Ning was about to say more, but Zhao Zhen left without looking back.
Zhao Zhen opened a tavern at the foot of Qingjing Mountain and lived peacefully for three years. She had a few close friends and someone she secretly loved. She originally thought that if the jianghu stayed peaceful, she could live out her life that way. But she never expected that trouble was only just beginning.
The female lead is Zhao Zhen, and the male lead is Qian Shiwen. One-on-one romance, with the plot and romance making up roughly a six-to-four split.
The only golden finger: The female lead's lightness skills are a concept-level escape ability. As long as she wants to run, she can always get away.
Notes:
My track record for finishing stories is somewhat reliable, but not by much.
Because of work, I can manage no more than four updates a week. I'll do my best to guarantee three.
I have some chapters saved up, but not many. If you can't keep reading, feel free to leave anytime. I'm an obscure nobody.
Theme: Do everything in your power to benefit humanity.
