Drifting Into the Game

■ A brilliant winemaker who's sweet on the outside and cunning within x a manor lord who plays the pig to eat the tiger ■ A reunion after years apart | Fate and redemption | A powerful man feigning amnesia and a grateful bird ˇ Yan Yu, a traveling winemaker, used his impressive winemaking experience and management skills to restore the dilapidated Songqing Winery to fame. Asked why he had agreed to take over a hopeless venture with no high salary, no social insurance, and no two-day weekends, he glanced toward the figure seated in a wheelchair not far away. His lips pursed, a dimple appeared in one cheek, and he answered calmly: "To repay a favor. Then we'll be even." ˇ Huai Songqing was badly injured in a car accident engineered against him. He turned the plot against him to his advantage, pretended to have amnesia, and lay low in an old house in the mountains. He had planned to recuperate and wait for his chance, never expecting that the first to arrive would be the bird who owed him a favor. "Even?" Once the crowd had dispersed, Huai Songqing pulled Yan Yu onto his wheelchair and pressed him into his arms. Then he took Yan Yu's hand, tugged open his shirt collar, and pointed to a bite mark on his collarbone. "So how are you planning to repay me for this?" #I want you high above the clouds, untouched by the dust of the mundane world. #But I'm only human, with my own favorites and no exceptions. ◎ The setting is loosely based on reality, and much of the content is invented.
