My Dead First Love Is Back

Yan Xu, a sophomore at the School of Arts, is good at painting and sweet-talking. When he smiles shyly, the two dimples in his cheeks make everyone want to call him their own son. And this precious son has a hidden identity: the legendary monster of the voice-acting scene, Teacher Mu Yu.

He can effortlessly master all kinds of voices, especially his breathy, seductive voice. It makes even tough women bite their blankets and straight men’s legs tremble.

Unfortunately, the new temporary teaching assistant, Bian Ting, seems to have taken a particular dislike to him. He’s a cold, impossibly handsome doctoral student, adored by countless men and women alike.

As a brilliant geology student, Bian Ting is every junior student’s ideal boyfriend, husband, and father of their children. His sexual orientation is a mystery, and he’s had very few relationships, all of them online.

His young girlfriend has just started college. She’s considerate and gentle, with a lovely voice, but she never shows her face.

After six months together, he plans to meet her in person.

During a voice call, his girlfriend accidentally switches to video.

The “girlfriend” who had just said, “I miss you,” turns out to be a short-haired boy. With Bian Ting’s eyesight, he can tell at a glance that the boy has a high school sophomore’s quadratic-function problem spread out in front of him.

Not only is his “girlfriend” a guy, he’s also a minor.

A month later, Yan Xu finally realizes that the ridiculously handsome temporary teaching assistant who always glares at him is just like the boy he fell for back at Daming Lake, the one he impulsively tricked into thinking he was a girl.

That first love of his was something else, too.

He broke up with Yan Xu for no reason, blocked him, deleted him, and disappeared in one fell swoop. He was such a jerk that Yan Xu never even got the chance to confess that he’d lied. Yan Xu cried his heart out, figuring he’d gotten what he deserved and that the other boy was dead to him.

Bonus scene:

One day, at school, in the office building.

The man’s sharp eyes were like knives. “Did you do nothing but date in high school? How could you make such a basic mistake?”

“I was wrong.” The boy lowered his head and began to repent.

The man kept mocking him. “Do you call everyone ‘darling’?”

“I really was wrong.” Sincere.

The man gritted his teeth. “Liar.”

“Honey~”

Yeah, his knees went weak.
