Silly version:
Guzaki Aozora was separated from her family as a child and sold.
After escaping as an adult, she finally reunited with her family. From then on, all she wanted was to stay by her parents' side.
But in Yokohama, where violence was the norm, a peaceful life was hard to come by. Her younger siblings also seemed to have some rather extraordinary part-time jobs.
With no other choice, Aozora walked into the ward office with the man beside her, holding his arm. She could only hope he would keep her family safe.
A month later, Gojo Satoru stared at the signature "Guzaki Toji" on the statement for his supplementary card and fell into thought.
First, he didn't bet on horse races.
Second, a certain someone should already be dead.
Finally, this card belonged to his "ex-wife."
A spiky-haired young man blocked his target, baring a row of white teeth in a supposedly "affectionate" smile as he threatened to kill him. "You'd better explain yourself, darling."
The woman in a pale lavender kimono, her hair styled like a gentle housewife's, hid behind her husband.
Guzaki? Fushiguro? Toji: "Kid, stay away from my emplo... No, your wife is great!"
Later, in a dim alley, the white-haired teacher irritably snuffed out a Hollow Purple and pinned the most evil curse user against the wall. "If you're my friend, help me steal someone."
Suguru Geto: "Huh?" You must be crazy.
A few months later, Yokohama exploded.
Gojo Satoru received a congratulatory call from his best friend: "Look at this kid. Doesn't he look like my son?"
The picture showed a beautiful woman, a man with a scar at the corner of his mouth, a tiny black-haired baby, and Suguru Geto taking up half the frame.
The stone-faced teacher: What the hell!!!!!!!!
Literary version:
Gojo Satoru was like a bird, flying here and there, and there was a nest in this tree that happened to be comfortable.
He didn't mind sleeping on a branch, and sleeping in the nest wasn't bad either. So he came and went, and sometimes came back again.
He went to the horizon to look at the sea, to the farthest reaches to watch the clouds, and to bustling places full of voices and merriment. Until one day, he realized it had been a long time since he'd left, and his life was nearing its end.
I don't know what love is.
Young master, you are what love is.
Then what would you do?
I would stay here and do my own things. Be happy, feel annoyed, get angry, make friends, and read stories.
Would you wait here for me?
No, young master. I wouldn't wait for you. I'd be living my own life.
That's so boring. It doesn't feel sincere at all. I won't come.
That's all right, young master. It's something you wouldn't know how to recognize anyway.
Wouldn't you be sad?
I would. That's why I love you. I'm lonely, dull, and lifeless, but when I came to know pain, the world gained color.
So you're happy for me to come, right?
Of course, with all the love I have. If you came for one day, I'd be happy for one day.
Happier than usual?
Not necessarily.
What if I don't come?
Then I'll find something else to be happy about.
What if you can't find anything?
Then I'll keep looking, little by little.
What if you never find anything?
I don't know that I'll never find anything, so I'll just keep looking, little by little.
P.S.:
The one-eyed cat said he doesn't know what kind of person could make someone like Gojo Satoru fall in love. So that means everyone has a chance, right? Come on, bring on the traditional rot of the Three Great Families! I want to see a haughty young genius from a grand old household, bound to a little maid sent by some old man! So good!
I'm new to these terrible cliches, but I can never get enough!
The blurb has been made silly. Gojo is the heroine's only pairing, and there are no weird plotlines.
The heroine is the missing eldest sister of the Guzaki family from a certain world of stray dogs.
I want both the dog and the cat!
I like Fushiguro Toji, but I don't usually break up canon couples.
Except for couples that were put together purely to drum up attention.
Maybe I'll write a story about him someday. The heroine would be Megumi's mommy too.
I don't have any ideas yet.
P.P.S.:
My headcanons are as vast as mountains and seas, and mountains and seas become stories.
I'll follow the original story when I feel like it. If I don't, then just consider it unrelated to the original work. I watch the anime and use its framework, but the story I want to tell here is the one in my heart. After all, there are so many things in the original that left me unsatisfied.

Theme: Gentle yet resilient, sharp yet modest.
