I Got My Secret Identity Wrong from the Start and Became a Charlatan

[The story is in third person. The blurb is in second person because it was easier to write that way.]

You are a clear-eyed but foolish college student with all kinds of privileges. You may, apparently, have transmigrated and become a god.

Because of your past habit of doing whatever you pleased and acting recklessly, the world is a complete mess and on the verge of falling apart. A huge group of atheists have become murderous toward you, blaming everything on you and trying to make trouble for you.

But as a foolish college student, you have plenty of flaws: your intelligence is lacking, and your understanding is poor.

On the very first day after transmigrating, you broke the System.

You vaguely remember having two tasks: 1. Hide your identity, gather your own believers, and build up your power. 2. Help the protagonist defeat the Demon King.

You struggle to survive in the cracks and successfully gather a huge number of believers. One day, your System is finally repaired by one of them.

What you see is:

[Hero No. 1: Believer of the Demon King] At this very moment, he is eagerly offering you prayers, hoping the god will protect the world forever.

[Hero No. 2: Believer of the Demon King] Because of you, he has developed an unshakable faith. In this state, he can accomplish anything.

[Hero No. 7: Atheist] He thinks you're strange and has begun to doubt you. He is lurking by your side, trying to discover your true identity.

[System Alert]: If Hero No. 7 discovers that you are the Demon King, he will tell the others, who will launch a group attack. Be careful.

Then you broke the System again.

You: .

You shut yourself away. Most importantly, you have no idea who Hero No. 7 is.

After finishing your duties as a god and getting over your self-imposed isolation, you decide to give up and become the Demon King.

Goodbye, you utterly infuriating world.

Advance warning: The author isn't very clever.

I haven't decided whether the story will focus on strategy or romance. Either way, it'll be one or the other, and I'll choose based on what I'm in the mood to write.

This is not a stock-picking romance.

The blurb is subject to changes, but the premise will stay the same.
