Reporting In, Coach Is Warming Up [Esports]

As the Alliance's one true god, five-time champion Chu Muyan had just won his fifth title playing support. Now he was wondering what to do next.

He'd won the championship, completed the Grand Slam, and even switched positions. What challenge could the game possibly offer him now?

Then that very night, he transmigrated into the body of the hapless coach of BHG, a bottom-ranked team.

To BHG, the coach was there to order takeout. They had no analyst, and matches were just for fun.

But one day, the whole team suddenly felt that something was off.

Hey, why did the coach stop ordering takeout? Did he actually intend to teach them how to play?

Chu Muyan: “You, yes, you, Qin Shaoye. Log in and 1v1 me. If you lose, you'll do exactly what I say!”

Qin Shaoye, BHG's famously behind-the-scenes owner, aka the esports scene's crown prince, scoffed. “You've got to be kidding. You want to 1v1 me? I could beat you with my left hand.” Then his left hand lost 0-7.

Chu Muyan was triumphant. “Do you surrender?”

Qin Shaoye: “...”

After that, BHG's performance began to skyrocket.

Their opponents panicked. “No, wait! Why are they suddenly so strong? Are they going to compete for the championship? We can't let that happen!”

Luckily, on the eve of the finals, BHG's mid laner was injured in a car accident and had to withdraw. His replacement was none other than BHG's beautiful coach.

The opposing team let out a wicked cackle. “Heh heh heh, in that case, we'll gladly take the championship.”

After all, everyone knew a coach's actual skill was about equal to that of a Gold-ranked player.

BHG's teammates: “Uh, maybe wait five minutes before you look again?”

And five minutes later...

“Wait, why is the coach better than the starting player?”

“Good grief, the coach is going on a rampage!”

On the field, Chu Muyan was in his element, full of himself and seemingly back to the way he'd been when he first started playing esports.

There was just one thing he wasn't happy about.

What was he supposed to do about the young master on his team always looking at him strangely?

Looking at him was one thing, but the guy had also turned Chu Muyan's main account chat window into a memo pad.

And everyone at BHG knew that the young master hated Chu Muyan more than any other player in the Alliance.

Looking at the ranked match records in the chat window, Chu Muyan fell into deep thought:

You call this hating me?
