Breakup Memo

First-person short story

"I" am Chentu.

They are Ye Fei, Sang Yin, 14, Ai Mo...

One after another, they dumped "me." Why does this keep happening to "me"?

Is there really no place for an ordinary man in the world of love?

Will "I" keep sinking into despair?

Who exactly is 14?

If you're interested in 14's story on its own, feel free to read the companion piece, "The Secret Crush Forum Post."

This is a short story told in the first person from 14's perspective.

A secret crush spanning nine years.

P.S.

The person you secretly love is perfect only in the secret admirer’s imagination.

At all other times, they're still just an ordinary person.

Especially when it comes to love.

Happy reading.

Premise: The person you have a crush on may be going through one heartbreak after another
