Harry Potter: Scenery in the Mist

Barty Crouch Jr. & Rabastan Lestrange x Galan Lestrange (Riddle)

Two male leads, both Death Eaters and terrible people. Happy ending. A sequel to "Universal Gravitation" (the story about Barty Crouch Sr.).

The female lead is the illegitimate daughter of Bellatrix and Voldemort. In canon, Rabastan is an emotionless grunt among the Death Eaters. His portrayal here is partly based on "Goblet of Fire", while his characterization is entirely the author's own.

In this story, Rabastan and Rodolphus have a large age gap. Rodolphus was born in 1951, while Rabastan and Barty Jr. were both born in 1962. The female lead was born in 1970. An original setting causes her age to change under certain abnormal conditions.

On the surface, the female lead is a crybaby who goes "boo-hoo," but she's gentle on the outside and tough inside. She gradually grows stronger, but she isn't a powerhouse heroine, and she isn't as crazy as Bellatrix.

Warning: two male leads. If that's not your thing, let's part peacefully. Don't force yourself to read this 600,000-word, long-winded doorstop. I'm writing simply out of love. It's free, so there's no sunk cost. Feel free to drop it.

Theme: Wandering through snow and mist.
