This King Refuses to Die

Song Wanyuan, the legitimate eldest daughter of the Duke's residence, had gone through five fiancés in a row, all of whom died. Everyone thought she was cursed, and might be some burly, terrifying girl with three heads and six arms. Otherwise, how could she have caused so many men to die?

For a time, the men of the capital were so terrified that they feared she would bring about their deaths.

He Wanyuan consequently became a famously unmarriageable old maid, known far and wide.

It was not until the flower-viewing banquet hosted by the Grand Princess Rong'an that people finally saw this legitimate daughter of the Duke's residence, who had grown up in Jiangnan.

She was a girl of exquisite beauty, delicate and shy, like a magnolia blossom on a branch.

Later, many people came to her defense, saying that the claim she brought death to her husbands was nothing but nonsense. Those men must simply have been unlucky. What did it have to do with her?

Then Song Wanyuan was granted in marriage to Prince Ning, and many people secretly hoped he would hurry up and die at her hands.
