Crying Really Can Solve Everything with a Tyrant

Chu Lianyin has a condition that makes her cry uncontrollably. She tears up at the drop of a hat, and people often call her overly sensitive, saying that crying won't solve anything.

An orphan whose parents are both dead and who has to live under someone else's roof, Chu Lianyin has a difficult life. All she hopes for is to get married soon, so she can finally be in charge and eat whatever she wants.

But a month before the wedding, her fiancé gets involved with a princess from the prince's household and abruptly calls off the engagement, making her the laughingstock of the capital. Worse still, her family thinks she's disgraced them and sends her to the palace in her cousin's place to serve a moody tyrant, where she could be executed at any moment.

On the very night she is sent to the palace, the tyrant pins Chu Lianyin against a door by the throat. Terrified, tears well up in her eyes. As she sobs uncontrollably, the tyrant suddenly faints and collapses straight into her arms. His gloomy, exquisitely beautiful face looks pale and fragile, no longer quite so frightening. Instead, he has the shattered, pitiful beauty of someone who has been cruelly mistreated.

Chu Lianyin: "…"

Later, Chu Lianyin discovers that whenever she starts to cry, the tyrant seems unable to bear it and faints. No matter how far away he is, it affects him.

The tyrant is furious about this. He angrily tells her to stop crying, and practically throws every fine thing he can find at her, nearly getting down on his knees to beg her.

So crying really can solve the problem of a tyrant. She has learned her lesson well. =v=
