Whatever, I'm Your Wife!

[Spoiled Young Master Bottom x Stoic, Sincere Top]

Chen Sui is delicate and beautiful, but also spoiled, bad-tempered, and a fake young master.

He trudges along with his birth parents back to their village, a poor and remote place with inconvenient transport, swarms of mosquitoes, and spotty internet.

After a few days there, Chen Sui nearly dies on the spot.

Not long after, he's also told that he has an arranged marriage, set up by their parents twenty years ago.

His fiance doesn't live in the village. He lives in town and runs a small business.

A rich guy?

As soon as Chen Sui hears this, he packs his bags and rushes off to find his fiance.

His fiance, Shen Mi, is an honest man: hardworking and quiet. The man in his photo is incredibly handsome, with a tall frame, long legs, broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and a height of 190 centimeters. Chen Sui is smitten. As soon as he gets off the train, he heads straight for Shen Mi's workplace: the entrance to a convenience store.

A few people are gathered inside playing cards. Chen Sui acts as if he doesn't see them and calls out affectionately to the most handsome one, "Brother Shen Mi, it's me!!"

Someone laughs. "Who is that, your wife?"

Shen Mi glances over, cigarette dangling from his lips, eyelids lowered. "Don't know him."

Chen Sui shamelessly moves in with Shen Mi, even producing proof of their parents' engagement agreement and telling him he can't back out.

"This house is way too shabby. If you want me to marry you, these living conditions won't do."

"What if someone richer comes along and wants me? Wouldn't you feel threatened? But you're handsome, and I like you."

"You like me, right? I'm very easy to like."

"If you don't have money, don't claim I'm your wife. I like ambitious people."

When he gets no answer, Chen Sui plants a foot on the man's bare back. "Say something!"

Shen Mi stands there shirtless, cigarette in his mouth, expressionless as he blows smoke rings. His eyes lower to the young master's pale, smooth foot, his expression still cool and impassive.

What he's thinking is: grab the young master's ankle, pull him into his arms, and leave him unable to speak.
