After Becoming the Insect Queen, I Refuse the Crematorium

--

Lu Shixing gets his hands on a base-building game called Bug Mother Simulator and names his character "Luo Yi."

But the game is nothing like the prosperous interstellar world described in its background. Lu Shixing starts on a desolate planet.

Sand stretches in every direction. Not a blade of grass grows, and danger lurks everywhere.

To make matters worse, the planet is surrounded by a host of grotesque, Lovecraftian insect monsters.

But he might, perhaps, just possibly, be their "mother."

With the five initial offspring granted by the System, he successfully transforms the insect race into an intelligent species. And, thanks to his preferences, the insects gradually begin to take on human forms. Everything seems to be going well.

Then he dies after staying up all night playing the game.

Next thing he knows, he has transmigrated into the game and become an insect mother.

--

The hierarchy among advanced insectoids has always been rigid. They look down on one another, and they look down even more on the insect mother, who abandoned their race thousands of years ago and has now suddenly returned.

When the frail insect mother returns with glory and memories, the King Insects and their followers refuse to bow their heads in submission. They both love and hate him.

Upon hearing this, the deity gives a quiet laugh and says indifferently, "Then we'll fight. A disobedient child just needs a good beating."

--

At first, they sneer at the insect mother they have regained after losing him.

In the end, the King Insects kneel outside the palace, crawling forward on their knees in shame and pain as they beg their king for forgiveness.
