The Warmhearted Big Sister

The warm-to-everyone career woman x the insecure, sensitive robot

People say Lin Jingzheng is a heartbreaker who treats everyone like a sweetheart, but she refuses to believe it. "I'm just a boss who's as warm as a spring breeze."

In his log, the robot Feng Bai writes: [This is my fault. I'm only a robot, so she simply can't love me enough.]

The building of the Lin Family Restaurant's Branch No. 8 lights up a Level Three alarm. Lin Jingzheng's father asks her for help, and she grabs her bag and heads out.

But an accident happens on the way, and Lin Jingzheng meets the robot Feng Bai.

Feng Bai is the robot manager of another Lin Family Restaurant, Branch No. 7. He is tall, handsome, careful, and clever.

During the month Lin Jingzheng spends recovering from her injuries, Feng Bai takes care of her the whole time.

On the day her leg has healed and she's due to head to Branch No. 8, Feng Bai disappears.

Lin Jingzheng finds him on the roof. In the rooftop wind, the usually rational and composed robot manager is writing a resignation letter with red-rimmed eyes.

"Why are you suddenly resigning?" she asks.

"My program is broken. I want to restore my factory settings. I'm sorry, but I have to leave you," he says.

Robot manager Feng Bai's log:

[She loves me so much, but I'm only a robot.]

[Does she really love me?]

[She still loves me. I love her too, even though I don't really understand what humans mean by 'love.']

[The head manager wouldn't want a kept man (crossed out). I am not thinking about marriage in any way (bolded).]

[I'm just a robot. How could I be just a robot?]

[I have no thoughts of overstepping my place... So how am I not as good as him?]
