As You Know, I'm a Good Person

The Thirteen Peaks of Hualin have taken in a new outer sect disciple. Besides practicing, she's also ordered around by her senior brothers and sisters to sweep the foot of the mountain and help with shopping.

This nameless junior sister has no spiritual roots for cultivation. She only became a disciple through a twist of fate and a stroke of luck.

The little junior sister is frail. She can cough up half a bowl of blood after saying just a few words. Though she looks sickly, she is remarkably hard to kill. She has swept the outer sect grounds day after day for over three years, without gaining the slightest bit of cultivation, and, fortunately, without dying.

The little junior sister may not be good at much, but she was born with a bodhisattva's heart. She'd rather go hungry than not give children money for sweets. Even when some fool picks a fight with her, she gently urges them to be kind. She's as soft and pliable as clay, with no temper at all.

Later, the little junior sister holds up a broom handle still dripping with blood and gives the elders gathered in the hall a weak, gentle smile. She points the handle at the bloodied, unidentifiable creature at her feet. "You all know I'm a good person."

The supremely gifted, aloof senior brother x the frail, delicate junior sister who's the strongest of them all
