Dogs hold grudges.
Dragons do too.
Yishudawa is neither a dog nor a dragon. He's a petty, grudge-holding Galaxy Ranger.
At the top of the first page of Yishudawa's grudge book is Aventurine, a bad-debt liquidation specialist in the Market Investment Department of the Interastral Peace Corporation.
Yishudawa and Aventurine's ill-fated connection goes back to Yishudawa's first year as a Galaxy Ranger.
In his first year, Yishudawa led the slaves on a planet in a rebellion, transforming the entire planet.
Then, under Aventurine's leadership, that newly transformed planet became one of the Corporation's assets.
In the second year, Yishudawa stormed a certain black-market auction and fought back after being hunted by a criminal gang.
In the end, the gang was reported, and Aventurine provided the evidence of their illegal activities.
According to Aventurine, the kind-hearted man who was being hunted deserved much of the credit for how smoothly the operation went.
Kind-hearted Yishudawa: ?
Aventurine got promoted and a raise within the Corporation, while Yishudawa was chased by minions everywhere and couldn't even get enough sleep.
Yishudawa thought it over for a moment and decided he still felt it was unfair. So he added this grudge to his list.
[Merchants chase profit. As long as you have enough value, sooner or later he'll come looking for you and ask for your help.
Your past experiences have given you more than enough patience. Until then, you'll keep enduring.]
"But I don't think this damn thing is a reason for him to point and you to shoot."
Your colleague Boothill, also a Galaxy Ranger, raised his very sincere objection.
Putting this blurb up first. Anyway, I want to write Aventurine!
Honkai: Star Rail in the early part, crossover anime in the later part! (Probably.)
The protagonist is the Azure Dragon from Yona of the Dawn! It's fine if you haven't read Yona of the Dawn!
Theme: Courage that never changes, from beginning to end
