[Hunter X Hunter] Playing House with the Spider Boss

I'm an assassin, a professional assassin. But unlike the famous Zoldyck Family, I'm not a freelance killer. I'm part of a special unit secretly trained by the government, known as the Cleaners. We handle the people, organizations, and other unsavory business the government wants dealt with in secret. And I'm the best assassin among the Cleaners. It has to do with my ability. My Nen Ability is called "Imagination." As long as I truly believe I'm strong, I can unlock my body's hidden potential. The more I believe in my strength, the stronger I become. But once I stop imagining, I'm no different from an ordinary person. Even other Nen users can't tell what I am. After all, I'm an extremely unremarkable person, the kind who's easily overlooked in a crowd. As long as I haven't activated my ability, I can always play the role of an anonymous passerby perfectly. One day, I received a special assignment. I had to observe an official and assassinate him if necessary, which meant staying in the area for a long time. To keep playing the part of an ordinary passerby until the assassination, I needed to fit in with the local atmosphere. The first step was getting married... Getting married?! Why are single people considered freaks around here?! I didn't get it, but to finish the assignment, I decided to get married first. So I found an honest man and married him. After we married, I was very pleased with my honest husband. He's an archaeologist, so his job keeps him away from home for most of the year. When needed, we also put on a show as a sweet married couple to fool the neighbors. I'm very pleased, except... Why does he have a spider tattoo from my next target group on his arm? Chrollo, leader of a world-class criminal organization, recently wanted to steal a country's hereditary treasure. But that country only welcomed married visitors, so he picked up a "wife" by the roadside. He was very pleased with his wife. Her job as a reporter kept her away from home for long stretches, leaving him plenty of free time. When needed, they put on a show as a sweet married couple to fool the neighbors. He was very pleased, except... It seemed his wife had a double life. Theme: Your nemesis is your nemesis. You can't turn them into your spouse.
