Earth has become a platform for high-dimensional beings' full-dive game, and all humans on Earth have turned into full-dive game NPCs. They have two choices.
1. Join the game world. As permanent game NPCs, humans can respawn endlessly, but are trapped within their instance for life and have to work obediently.
2. Roam outside the game. Humans can move freely, but only have one life.
Plenty of players are outlaws. They don't care if you're marked red, green, or yellow. If they're in a bad mood, they'll slash at you, and then you'll just be dead.
NPCs roaming outside the game, with only one life, can only hide and run for their lives.
To the west is a vast fantasy world of magic, to the east a vast cultivation world. The neighboring province has just opened a business simulation, while overhead is a gun-and-cannon combat simulator. Shells rain down at random, blasting whole crowds of howling zombies to death.
Yu Ze is speechless. Yu Ze is amazed.
As an NPC roaming outside the game, Yu Ze's first step toward survival is to pass himself off as an NPC character who's unlikely to get attacked.
From a CEO's assistant in a business simulation, to a referee in a racing game, from a street vendor in a cultivation world, to a blacksmith in a magic world.
One day, he runs into a powerful grand mage and accidentally discovers that the man doesn't have a permanent NPC profile!
Yu Ze is shocked. So you're an NPC roaming outside the game too!
Different NPCs, different fates. Yu Ze's approach is to hide in plain sight, while the other man's is to get so strong no one can kill him.
Yu Ze can't help asking: How did you learn to master both cultivation and magic?
A seemingly warm but inwardly cold, low-profile bottom x a seemingly cold but inwardly warm, high-profile top
A nontraditional fourth calamity plus a nontraditional infinite-flow story
Core message: Strive to grow, break free of your shackles, and head toward freedom.
