After the On-Screen Comments Spoiled the Plot, the Cannon Fodder Girl Became a Star

Gu Zhouzhou is an actress so far down the industry ladder that she is practically a nobody. She may be a little too obscure, but she has work and money, and the paparazzi leave her alone. All in all, her life is pretty carefree.

But after she got injured, things began to change.

Gu Zhouzhou had just landed a new role and was happily getting ready to join the cast.

[Tsk, how tragic. She worked so hard to finish filming, only for the entire show to get shelved because of the second male lead.]

Gu Zhouzhou: "?"

Gu Zhouzhou joined a dating reality show, paired with a male celebrity who was gentle and easy to get along with.

[What a scumbag. He secretly got married and came on a dating show? Boo!]

Gu Zhouzhou: "!"

Later, Gu Zhouzhou got a new script. It was even her first leading role.

[This show? Tsk, tsk. The director is having an affair with the second female lead. She gets a ton of extra scenes later, and the show flops spectacularly.]

Gu Zhouzhou: "..."

With the on-screen comments spoiling everything, Gu Zhouzhou was either gossiping or on her way to gossip, and forgot all about building her career.

Gu Zhouzhou: "And then? What happened next?"

Gu Zhouzhou: "This actor isn't secretly married too, is he?"

Gu Zhouzhou: "Is this director even legit?"

While Gu Zhouzhou was immersed in the gossip, she suddenly became famous.

Netizens: I suspect Gu Zhouzhou joined the entertainment industry just to gossip!

[Putting up a temporary advance notice. I'll polish the blurb before starting the story. Please add it to your collection~]
