Blazing Melody

A band story.

In everyone's eyes, Jing Suyu and Zhu Xia are classmates who barely know each other and don't get along very well. In private, these two people who supposedly don't get along share a bed.

Before the New Year's Eve party, Zhu Xia sat on the rehearsal room floor and asked, "What's your dream?"

A bird was painted on Jing Suyu's electric guitar.

She said, "I hope to start a band and perform on a big stage."

The summer after the college entrance exams, Jing Suyu left without telling anyone.

Zhu Xia went abroad to study, too.

Six years later, Jing Suyu was lying in her rented apartment when she got a phone call.

"Whether we can make it out there depends on this."

Dream Band, Season One.

Jing Suyu opened her black notebook. On the first page was a song called "Rain on a Summer Night."

Filming for Dream Band began.

Jing Suyu was seated in the second studio when a beam of light fell on the mentor's chair.

Zhu Xia smiled and said, "Hello, everyone. I'm Zhu Xia, and I'm delighted to be a mentor on the first season of Dream Band."

Gasps and screams rang out from the audience.

Jing Suyu could only hear a ringing in her ears. The sounds of wonder around her gradually faded.

Her heart pounded like thunder.

At that moment, every lie fell apart.

The Rainy Season band was the show's dark horse.

An unknown band fought its way to the top.

A band made it big that summer, and suddenly everyone wanted to copy it.
