1. The main story is told from the female lead's perspective. She's 39 at the start, loved her late husband, and her son is her biological child. She's a strong, universally adored mother figure, and the strongest character in the story.

2. The female lead is not a virgin; all male characters are virgins. There are romances at different stages, love triangle chaos, and competition between men. The eventual male lead is her son's military academy classmate.

3. The setting is post-apocalyptic. Ordinary survivors live to an average age of 150, and sentinels and guides live even longer.

4. This is my take on the sentinel-guide genre, with lots of original settings. At heart, it's a self-indulgent passion project, so please don't nitpick too much.

Before You Read:

1. [Highlight: It's written from the male lead's perspective because the female lead's perspective wouldn't be scary at all anymore. That would be boring.]

2. Slight horror with a touch of Lovecraftian elements. All folk customs, religions, geography, history, and so on in the story are fictional.

3. The male lead is lovesick and trusts the female lead unconditionally, so he'll overlook certain details.

4. Includes an unconventional male pregnancy plot. The child is born as a snake, and it takes a long time before it can take human form.
