What's it like to go undercover in a world of the bizarre?
Ling Jun: Thanks for asking. Dancing on the edge of a knife is pretty thrilling, but humans, if you don't come get me soon, I'm going to become the King of the Bizarre's partner!
After entering a world of the bizarre, Ling Jun became a human undercover agent pretending to be one of them. His mission was to become a trusted aide to the King of the Bizarre.
When he first arrived, he was lying in a pile of countless thick, icy, black-and-red writhing tentacles, about to become a tentacle monster's meal.
Ling Jun declared outright:
"I'm one of the King of the Bizarre's people. If you touch me, the King of the Bizarre won't let you get away with it!"
The tentacle monster stared at him for a while, then let him go.
By chance, Ling Jun and the tentacle monster became close friends. He often bragged to it about his "deep bond" with the King of the Bizarre.
One day, he received a message from the King of the Bizarre.
King of the Bizarre: Come see me, and I won't tell the others you're an undercover agent.
Ling Jun:
"Huh?"
He went to the King's palace and looked up.
The tentacle monster sat on the throne, its familiar tentacles winding around his waist.
"Aren't you one of my people? Why don't we make it official right now?"
Ling Jun broke down:
"Wait! That's not what I meant by making it official!"
Later, the entire world of the bizarre was celebrating the King's grand wedding.
Meanwhile, Ling Jun hid in his room, frantically messaging the human side.
"It's been three years! Three years, and then another three years! Three more years after that! I've become the boss's wife, so when are you finally coming to get me?!"
And so, on their wedding night, the King of the Bizarre's beloved disappeared.
The King launched a massive invasion of human cities, and just as a great war was about to break out...
Ling Jun stepped forward, holding a miniature tentacle monster, his face sour.
Can someone tell him why going undercover has ended with him having a child?!
