The living have died, but their souls neither enter the underworld nor linger. Instead, they mysteriously vanish. There may be a mole inside the underworld, so to avoid alerting them, an outside agent is sent to investigate the missing souls and go undercover...

To support her benefactor's descendants, and for her meager wages, the butterfly spirit Jiang Zhi "grits her teeth and bears the humiliation" as she infiltrates a rival organization. Unfortunately, her benefactor's descendant keeps blundering into all kinds of cases for some reason. Jiang Zhi can only rely on her talent for "soul-searching" (something like mind reading) to protect her while causing chaos. Along the way, she also brings home a man who successfully escaped but lost his memory, and is mistaken for the vessel meant to resurrect XX [male lead].

The trio specializes in a "Lovecraftian" style, taking on evil forces wherever they appear. They never expected that the mysteries of all three of their pasts would point back to the great battle a thousand years ago!

2. The main focus is mystery and deduction: [Case Arcs] and [Main Plot] run in parallel. You can skip the case arcs, but reading in order is recommended. [Foreshadowing]

3. There is a romance, but their personalities mean it is not especially intense. Their relationship is a slow-burn built on mutual understanding, and both are strong characters.

4. A long work with slow, irregular updates. I may revise it from time to time. The major plot is outlined, and the story is mainly told through narration.

Of course, life away from home is bound to bring danger. Then, out of nowhere, a delivery worker appears, delivering all sorts of things, including objects, people, nonhumans, mutated creatures, and even... things that don't exist. Every delivery arrives on time, saving people in their hour of need.

Once the players finally catch on, they start going crazy! If I'm in danger, can't I just send myself away?

After battling the final boss for three days and three nights, Player A submits a delivery request: [Deliver 1 blood potion within 10 minutes]. Accept?

Player A: (Weakly) Save me! Hurry and bring me a healing potion.

9 minutes and 59 seconds later, Su Di arrives with the delivery.

Su Di: Damn, some huge thing blocked my way. I almost got there late, but luckily I took care of it.

Player A: (Weakly) That was... my boss!

(The female lead is the strongest. No arguments.)
