The Gloomy School Hunk Is My Dad!

[Blurb] Updates every night at 24:00!

Pei Yiyan found a little kid on his way home from school. The kid immediately latched onto him and called him Dad.

Pei Yiyan, who had been single all his life: "..."

He coldly put some distance between them.

After a lot of trouble, a paternity test confirmed that he was the little one's father. The world came crashing down around Pei Yiyan, a young man in the prime of his life.

From then on, he had a little shadow he couldn't shake, an endless stream of messes to clean up, and a child to worry about every minute of the day.

To earn money for formula, Pei Yiyan went to class during the day, wrote code at night, and made milk tea on weekends.

When his rowdy friends asked him to go out and party on the weekend, he turned them down with cool, clear resolve.

His friend couldn't understand. "What are you so busy with all the time?"

Pei Yiyan: "Making formula."

His friend: "?"

At home on the weekend, Xixi said, "Dad, I want your strawberry cake."

Pei Yiyan replied coldly, "Do I look like a strawberry cake to you?"

(His hand whipping the cream blurred with speed.)

"Hehe, thank you, Dad! You're the best, muah~"

Pei Yiyan expressionlessly touched the wet mark of drool on his cheek, his gaze deep and thoughtful. Right, he ought to buy the kid a strawberry farm.

On a stormy night, with thunder and gale-force winds, Pei Yiyan's old injury flared up. In unbearable pain, he became as volatile and vicious as a spiky beast, so no one dared go near him.

Xixi hugged him with tears in her eyes and held out her chubby little arm. "Dad, bite me! You'll feel better after you bite me!"

The boy's eyes were bloodshot. With a trembling hand, he pushed the little one away.

The little one got up and staggered out of sight. Pei Yiyan crumpled to the ground, his chest rising and falling weakly, his whole body lifeless.

He closed his eyes in despair, moisture gathering at the corners.

"Dad!"

"Mommy and I came back to save you!"

Pei Yiyan's body jolted. He suddenly opened his eyes. Standing by the bed was the little bundle who had gone away and returned, and...

a girl, drenched and flushed, her eyes full of worry.

"Are... are you okay?"

"Not really."
