This is a new author's first novel. The plot takes priority. It's not an unlimited-flow story, and all the storylines are connected.
Tsundere, calculating, and secretly devoted (pretends to be proper) x Proud, pure-hearted, and easily moved to tears (a real crybaby)
Qi Yu stays up late reading a novel and nods off for a moment. Somehow, she ends up inside the book as a supporting character who has lost her ability and is about to be written out.
But the System gives her a Yuan card that can turn abilities into cards.
At first, Qi Yu thinks it's just an uneventful magnitude-three earthquake and the first heavy rain of spring, until the sky is covered by dark blue-green clouds and a torrential downpour begins.
Some people say the disasters have begun.
Soon afterward, ability users lose control overnight. Looking at the Yuan card in her hand, Qi Yu seems to understand what the System had in mind.
Unexpectedly, the card awakens and develops a will of its own. It's delicate and loves to cry.
When Qi Yu accidentally tears its clothes, it cries inside the card for ages.
When she accidentally interrupts its novel-reading, it gets red-eyed and flies into a rage.
Qi Yu: For the sake of that face, I'll spoil him for now.
In a moment of passion, Qi Yu makes him cry again, and, under the suppression of their bond, steals his first kiss.
Instead of pointing at her and cursing, the young man lowers his eyes and softly asks, "So what are we to each other now?"
Qi Yu: Shh, don't ask. It's complicated, and I can't explain it right now.
Theme: Keep striving to improve every day.
