One game brought the two of them together. From then on, there was no turning back from sticking to her upperclasswoman’s side.
In real life, the upperclasswoman showers her with affection every day. Everyone else: “Should we just leave, then?”
In the game, she hits hard. Outside the game, she turns into a righteous little puppy, and sets off on a one-way road to chase after her upperclasswoman.
Yun Zhaozhao: “Ahhh, Senior Wen Zhixu is so gentle. I love her so much!”
Everyone looked at her with disdain. “Since when? How did we not know?”
The supposedly “gentle” upperclasswoman rolled her eyes at them. Everyone whined, “What happened to being gentle?”

Reader’s guide:
1. This really is a brainless, tooth-rottingly sweet story. It’s also my first novel. I previously posted it somewhere else, and now I’ve moved it here. Turns out I had an alt account.
2. This first novel has plenty of flaws. It’s truly written by a total beginner, so please go easy on me, hehe~
3. Thank you, cuties~

[Inspired by Guo Yifan’s song “I’m Here”]
Mu Xingru never imagined she’d get involved with a bar owner, though it might sound perfectly ordinary.
She was just an unremarkable little breakfast-shop owner, shuttling back and forth between home and her shop downstairs every day. She occasionally went on trips, but never expected one curious friend to lead her to a bar owner.
The first time she saw that woman, she was surrounded by people. Watching her chat and laugh with such ease, Mu Xingru had to admit she was captivated. That was how she learned the woman’s name: Jing Lan.
The second time they met was the next morning, outside Mu Xingru’s breakfast shop. She recognized Jing Lan from the night before, but Jing Lan didn’t seem to remember her.
The third time they met was during a commotion at TS. Jing Lan’s ex-husband showed up to wreck the place. For some reason, Mu Xingru stepped in front of a glass bottle meant for Jing Lan, and ended up in the hospital with an honorable injury.
“Technically, you had no reason to take that bottle for me. But since you got hurt for my sake, it’s only right that I look after you.”
That one act seemed to bring them closer...
“Boss Jing, are you from around here?”
“Boss Jing, has anyone ever told you how charming you are?”
“Boss Jing, I think I’m starting to like you.”
“Jing Lan, can I pursue you?”
[A slow-burn romance between a breakfast-shop owner gong and a bar owner shou]
I don’t know when I fell for you. Maybe it was that night you lost control after drinking.
Maybe it was when you got hurt and ended up in the hospital for my sake. I don’t remember very clearly.
But...
I think I may have liked you for a long time.
Theme: Stay true to your ideals
